Surrounded By The Past

Surrounded By The Past is a 2D single-player narrative-driven side-scroller game about climate-fiction (cli-fi). Humanity has deforested the entire planet and as a consequence oxygen levels have dropped far below CO2 levels, which have continued to rise all the time, creating a toxic environment, empowering climate change and killing almost the entire world's population.

Play as Sophie to discover the contents of a CD she found at home. In her journey learn what happened to the world by talking to people still living on the world.
